OK? I live near Altoona, Pennsylvania and they have a great Double AA park. But if I was in argument with Philadelphia about it, I wouldn't bring it up considering they have a major league team. Same deal with Houston and Memphis. They have the Rangers. You have future Cardinals. The park is irrelevant. The level of baseball is important.

As for the guy wanting to arm his employees, well, if that's what he wants to do I say go for it, long as it's legal.

Im just as opposed to being "required" to carry a firearm as I am about being"prohibiting" from carrying one in the workplace. I would think that hiring some professional security and allowing employees that wish to be trained concealed carriers to do so...would be more prudent direction to take in this type of initiative. Forcing someone to do this seems quite foolish IMO.

I'd hope this policy is explained during the hiring process. If anyone disagrees he/she is free to look someplace else for employment.

That part I don't necessarily have a problem with, as he is (in the process) making sure my employees and my company are covered in case something does happen.

However, i notice that the owner himself supplies the gun, so I'm not sure if they have to have them on their persons at all times. If so, that might be a little bit iffy; where as if they only have to have them in their offices... it's part of the 'office equipment'.

Astros. Rangers are in Arlington, which sits between Dallas and Fort Worth (DFW).
