RE: FedEx car wins Daytona
Toyota's had a game plan going in and worked it to perfection. Allowed the three Gibbs teams and Martin Truex to spend most of the last part of the race lined up single file and ahead of the rest of the field.

Hamlin made a last lap move to go from 4th and up to the win.

RE: FedEx car wins Daytona
I am just concerned with the future. Dropped regular field from 43 cars to 40 this season. Then this week wasn't able to even get 40 cars. Been almost 20 since NASCAR has had a race without a full field.

This is what happened when Nascar allowed huge teams with more than two cars.

Also, the last few seasons, that has shown up at the end of races and the green, white, Checkers at the end of races over anx over. It defeated the idea of running so many laps.

I'd love for them to knock it down to two cars max for teams. I'd also love for them to go to heat races for and they a shorter main at 1/2 or 2/3rds the length or the races with only around 25 cars.

Nascar grew big by racing their series apart from each over and going to more tracks , now it's all one great big travelling show were the three series all race at the same place and many drivers double dip and you better have a tracked owned by the LaFrance Mafia.

NASCAR created a Charter system this year where 36 car were given a charter which means if they show up they race. While the four remaining spots are available for the remaining cars which choose to show up. This past week in Atlanta only 3 showed up.
