Could any NHL team have 6 Americans on ice at once?

That wasn't part of your question... any team could conceivably draft/trade for and put on the ice a All American starting line up.

As of right now I'd have to go through each team's roster and see if there is an American available at each position for any of them to make a starting roster of only Americans.

THAT is what I was asking. :) I'd start at goalie, easiest to eliminate.
