As mentioned earlier, we play Norfolk State home tomorrow, then host a 3 game tourney this weekend at home. Of note, Virginia Tech is the opponent this Saturday at 4:00. It would be great to have a huge crowd turn out for the turkeys. I plan to be there. Then plan to walk over to the Ted and say goodbye to Trey and the rest of our basketball seniors.

Nice to have a hard 93 mph closer take care of the last 4 outs!

It was cold tonight! Coach Jeff Jones showed up - for an inning... And I'm not sure how the OFs caught fly balls. It looked to me Nick Walker mis-read a couple but then later made tremendous catches going back on hard line shots heading toward the base of the wall.

I wasn't there, but I listened. The battle between Matheson and Hall in the seventh was great. Hall worked hard and got the run scoring single, but Hayes came up with a great throw to second to put him out and end the inning. Good stuff.

Good game going against Manhattan. 5-5 in the bottom of the 11th.

Monarchs win in 12, 6-5.

5-0 on the season. Have the Chokies tomorrow.

After being gone for two weeks without TV or WI-FI, it's great to get home to find the Monarchs kicking some baseball arse. Life is good!
