So looking at the bracket, it looks like we avoid Marshall until the championship, which I don't think they will make. I think think that is a blessing. Marshall and UAB are the two teams I think we match up terribly with. UAB is going to play in the championship, so there is no avoiding them no matter what, but avoiding Marshall is a very good thing in my opinion, even if it means playing an extra game.

We have the winner of the pillowfight round followed by La. Tech. Not too bad, likely followed by UAB in semis.

We wouldn't see UAB in the championship, we would see them in the semis. The good is UAB has the noon game. Should probably cut down on the home court advantage!

I get that, but my thinking is that no matter the bracket setup, we would still see UAB, because I don't see anyone else beating them. So with that, I think it is favorable that we don't have to deal with them as well as Marshall. I think we can, and should beat anybody else we face if we play well. I am just not sure we can beat Marshall because we seem to have a scoring ceiling that is not high enough to beat them.

We have a great path. I would've preferred the 3 to play mtsu without Potts but I am happy to play la tech if we win.

We're 6-1 vs our side of the bracket. 5-4 vs the other side of the bracket. It could be worse.

I'm just trying to figure out how I'll watch the early games next week.

I dont mind playing the "tune-up" game... I think me and VCuyniclone are the only two that feel this way.

I wouldn't count on ASN to make it easy to watch any of the games they broadcast.

Of course our games are in the middle of the work day...FML

The games are at 3:30. If you have the ability to leave work a little early you can catch it. I've left work at noon to catch ODU NCAA tourney games.

I don't mind us playing the "tune up" game. We should win the opening game and maybe having won a game will give us some confidence in that tournament. If we are fortunate enough to play 4 days in a row it shouldn't effect these kids from a physical standpoint. They are in great shape.

Just win the first one. My take, we can beat anyone in the league,including UAB . We can also lose to anyone in the league. Gotta be ready from the get go, and take it right to the opponent!
