I just hope the Carebats are on the other side of the conference tournament bracket from us.

You have a very good team. I still think you'll make the NCAAs.

Good game Tulsa fans! Nerve racking finish, but your boys dug deep and pulled it out.

From a UC side, the biggest play of the game was the 75 footer Tulsa threw in at the buzzer of the first half. The difference between an 8 lead and a 5 point lead is tremendous.

But I think Cronin really needs to get his head out of his ass. Switching from a zone to man to man in the 2nd half was idiotic. Tulsa got the rim at will off penetration. And then taking out Clark AND Ellis for two straight ******* minutes in OVERTIME is the dumbest thing you'll see a coach do all year.

What a disappointing year for UC. This is what 5 losses by 2 points now?

Idiotic. Good game. Well officiated, just could not get the breaks. On the last play though, I think your player stepped on the inbounds line. It would have given the bearcats 2 seconds to set up a play but stuff like that happens all the time.

True but it wouldn't have mattered. We don't have any scorers on this team because as per usual, Mick doesn't recruit scorers (Sean Kilpatrick was a gift, a once in a 100 guys type of kid who blossomed).

Good game Tulsa...guess I will have to now refrain from poking fun at your small time-edness since "scoreboard" is now your trump card.

So I guess it's not fun to. 'play' at the YMCeeeAyayaaa? 04-cheers

Cincy's defense was one of the best I've seen all year, especially against the TU guards who are really good. Crazy game that both teams seemed to want to lose in OT.

Just glad we got the W.

It was obviously a cheap attempt to get fouled and I'm not surprised they ignored it, but with that said I do think he jumped to shoot before there was any contact.

Bearcat fans hate me if you want but...GOOD GOD I'M SO SICK OF US ALWAYS BLAMING THE OFFICALS FOR EVERY SINGLE LOSS!!!!!

so he maybe missed a call? big effing deal it happens all game every game in both directions. What about the other 39 minutes and 59 seconds of the game? Reality is we just aren't good enough in the right moments right now to win basketball games. The game should have never been in a position where we needed to rely on the refs bailing us out on a desperation heave anyways. We controlled the first half and honestly should have had a bigger lead than we did, and then we didn't react to the adjustments Tulsa made in the second half and flat out lost the game.

The AAC/refs aren't out to get us because of some made up theory in our heads that they want to disadvantage us because we think we are leaving the conference. There is no reason for us to have this sense of entitlement right now because we haven't done squat to earn it.

I have been saying this for football and basketball...all year long.

Have I agreed with the officials? Nope. I think they have been atrocious at best and have deliberately screwed Cincinnati at worst.

But the really good teams compensate. When you put your entire game in the hands of one or two official calls, you deserve to lose.

Congrats to Tulsa on the win last night. They had a good game plan and stuck with it and it paid off.

They just decided to attack the rim nearly every time down the floor in the second half and we never fully adjusted. Even those horrible announcers were able to analyze the replay and point out the gaping holes that kept opening in the lane to drive the ball into.

Cincy's perimeter defense was by far also the best I had seen all year. Tulsa's guards are better then you think. Cincy just made them look bad.

Is that the same thing as Tulsa fans blaming the announcers "extra-long" interview with Coach Calhoun for the loss to UCONN?

Y'all were so miserable and melty that day I tell ya!!

No one blamed the interviews for the loss. I just said that there was no reason for a 10 minute long interview with the opponent's coach during gametime.
