Any chance Walker plays? It looked like he was out of the boot last night.

This is going to be a tough one for the Flashes. From a conference title position it is a must win game. I think we can all agree that a MAC title is all but out of the cards for this group. A return trip to Akron and a roadie left at Buffalo muddies those waters. But who knows.

More important is the need for KSU to hold serve at home and stay in contention for a top 4 seed. After this one, BG is the only home game left on the schedule so holding serve at the MAC Center is all but a must.

Most important though is the rivalry. As GFlash mentioned, defending the perimeter is priority #1 and #2 to have success against the Zips. If Akron is cold the Flashes will have to limit them to one shot by cleaning up the glass. The x factor for Akron, whether realistic or not, is that they come in at 21-4 with two nationally televised games in the next three weeks. If ever they wanted to make a statement....

Anybody else having issues with ESPN streaming???? Mine keeps freezing up on me. Wife has been watching Netflix all afternoon and worked perfect for her so find it hard to believe it's my internet.

Most enthusiastic this team has ever played. Keep up the intensity! Don't start firing up threes early in the shot clock. Something we have been doing when we get up.

If both teams were at full strength, we'd win this conference. We still could, but the schedule favors Akron now.

Good crowd...lots of Acorn fans.

Great game. A conference record of 9-5 sure looks a lot better than 8-6. We have a decent chance at a bye now.

If we can play at this level we could win these next 3 games and set up a huge rematch.

That a KENT STATE BASKETBALL of old effort. Most complete game we have played in probably 3-5 years.

Every guy that stepped on the floor contributed in a big way.

And I love the gameplan in not doubling Johnson in the post. Yes he got his points but i'd rather trade 2 than double and let the Akron 3 pt parade start with guys wide open.
