Milan basketball legend Stan Joplin credits basketball for 'everything'

Short but nice article on Stan. Seems they are trying to find the greatest Ann Arbor area high school BB player, and Stan is in the voting.

Kind of surprised there are that many players from the AA area that I recognize - only Cofield. Toledo is a bigger city, but the list of players that could be listed is pretty impressive - and just from the City League.

Voted for Stan since Keith Wade wasn't listed. He might be able to steal some votes...

Should be surprised that Magic Johnson isn't on any of the lists because they seem to excluded Lansing as a region. How does that happen?

We had a guy from AA on one of K's first teams. Didn't last more than a year. Point guard. Wasn't Jay Schunner from Ann Arbor? He should be on the list.
