So hypothetically Josh leaves on his own (TCU, Houston, etc.), is Bruce Pearl on the table? Or Archie? Or Marshall? Unlikely at this point, but Parrish seems to think it's possible.

For those arguing that because Pearl is struggling at Auburn he doesn't have "it" anymore, you're in outer space. Or you just hate the guy because he was at UT and you're using the whole NCAA punishment thing to justify why you don't want him. That's pretty easy to see through.

Pearl would be the obvious choice to reignite the fan base, he'd recruit extremely well here, and I'd believe he'd win more quickly than anyone else. I also believe, he wants this job badly for a number of reasons, mainly because I think Auburn is going to be a tougher job than he originally thought, despite what he's got coming in next year.

Marshall would be my second choice.

Marshall, Archie, Pearl. That would be my order of preference, but I would be ecstatic with any of them at this point.

Then Underwood, Drew#2, Forbes.
Any questions?

I thought Underwood would be awesome here when they played here a couple of years ago.
His team looked well coached, and ran good stuff, really.

Don't forget, he's a hall of famer, too. LOL

I think Forbes or Underwood could do well here, too. Realistically, this is the level we are probably looking at all things considered.

Marshall and Miller would be 1 and 2 IMO...but those wouldn't happen. I think we'll have to go lower level guy or good assistant.

More than money, past or previous record or experience.

The fit has to be right

This job is not for everybody

Hasse would be a terrible fit. I can't believe people are throwing out his name. Besides an upset in the tourney last year and winning a few games in a beyond terrible CUSA what has he done?

Forbes seems to be someone that would be a good candidate. Would Underwood fit here?

1. Pearl-guaranteed top flight recruiting AND coaching.
2. Marshall
3. Take your pick (Easterwood would be fine with me)

On Hasse...We could do better, but we could do worse also. He would be a long shot.
