ACC Winter Meetings
So what happened... I can not find a recap of anything... Does this mean the ACC went G5 classified and are purposefully not giving any updates??

RE: ACC Winter Meetings
Don't know, but would love to hear an update on an ACC network from someone in the know.

RE: ACC Winter Meetings
Quote:From: Links, news and rumors - 1/27/16
From Andrea Adelson, ESPN Staff Writer:
Quote:The ACC winter meetings begin Wednesday in South Florida, but there are no major votes on the agenda during their three-day session. The meeting is an opportunity for athletic directors and faculty athletic reps to meet and go over recent discussions at the NCAA convention, hear from television partners, and broadly discuss the next steps the league should take to enhance its future. Reviewing officiating and how the newly implemented medical observer worked at football games also are topics.
In other words, if anything significant comes out this week, it'll be a surprise...
The only thing I know of that came out of this year's Winter Meeting was
Quote:New Asst Coordinator for Replay
Here's a decision that came out of day one of the ACC Winter Meetings...
ACC NAMES TED JACKSON ASSISTANT COORDINATOR FOR FOOTBALL REPLAY
GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that Ted Jackson, a long-time collegiate football on-field and replay official, has been named as the league's first Assistant Coordinator for Football Replay.
ESPN says this move is designed to prevent what happened in the Miami/Duke game from happening again
Whatever else they discussed, it was off the record.

The Pitt AD hinted that they talked about a 9th game again but keep coming back to keeping same divisions, and keeping 8 games.

RE: ACC Winter Meetings
I was hoping to hear how much the ESPN was going to pay each ACC school for no Network...Last I heard it was like 3 million per school....Just not sure if that is accurate

It's my understanding that 2017 is when that would begin, so those talks may be a year away.
