Cajun Softball Moves Up in both Polls
Cajun softball moved up to #7 in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll and #8 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25. South Alabama is at #23 and #26 respectively.

I spoke to a SoAL fan at the park and he mentioned someone hurting a hand sliding into second base. Was that the injury? Also he mentioned someone tweaking a hamstring. Did that one turn out all right?

Our sophomore left fielder tweaked her hamstring. She was moved to the designated player for the remaining games and yes, our center fielder broke her hand sliding into the bag.
