Graduating in May and will be a graduate transfer at Bama (pending NCAA approval). Had a very solid Jr. year.

Tough offseason for BGSU. Losing: Matt Johnson (graduation), Travis Greene (RB - graduation), Roger Lewis (another junior WR - NFL), Dieter (graduate transfer) and Coach Dino Babers.

Good, we can play a different team in the MAC Conference (sic) Championship!

That is life at the G5 level. You develop them for 4 years and then the big boys reap the benefits.

Interested to see how he does. Just proves that the MAC has talent just not as deep as p5.

I'm no NFL scout but I think the guy could end up playing on Sundays.

Didn't he start off at SMU and then transfer to BG?

They'll both likely be gone by the time he starts playing WR. He has to sit a year.

I was surprised too bc of the talent they have still have. I believe the graduate transfer rule permits students to play immediately so long as they: 1) Receive a degree from their former institution, 2) enroll in a graduate program at their new school.

Actually, since he originally transferred to BG, he has to obtain a waiver from the NCAA to play as a graduate transfer.

The other thing, he has to enroll in a graduate program that we do not offer at BGSU.

Not upset (disappointed - yes, but I think he should have gone to FSU to help my Seminoles) as he will have earned his degree. Gives him an opportunity to play on New Year's Day or to play for a supposed National Championship.
