Alabama: Former UCF offensive coordinator / running backs coach Brent Key will join the Alabama staff as offensive line coach, according to Sports Illustrated’s Thayer Evans. Current offensive line coach Mario Cristobal is expected to move to tight ends / tackles coach. Key coached at UCF from 2005-15.

Former coach who was supposedly offered UAB job before HCBC while he was UCF "coach-in-waiting". Some on this board favored him for the job...

He was definitely offered the job as the first choice and he declined the offer. Glad he did and glad we have Clark. Key is a good coach though. Birmingham guy also
