Western Michigan @ Kent State
The Broncos snapped a three game losing streak with a road win over Bowling Green State University on Saturday. During the streak, WMU lost a game to Miami by a score of 45-44. This is a must have home game as the Flashes are in a logjam of 7-5 teams vying for a bye to the quarterfinals.

For burden:

Kent State 47
WMU 46

Not much activity on this thread. You would think this was game 11 of the football season. Oh well. This is a big one. I can't be too optimistic on the two Akron games so we need to win the other 4 if possible.

Good to see Dev Manley in attendance tonight. Maybe he will bring some good luck to us (from beyond the arc) tonight. I've been waiting for this game as I was at the game earlier this season in Western. Boy, one helluva game...

According to the RC, Hall is having knee issues. He is expected to try to play. Edwin also will try to play through his injury.

We're scrappy, but an overtime is going to be tough short-handed.

Ugh. OT. And you know what. Enough with shorthanded. Xavier Pollard ain't walking through that door. Neither is Walker. You've got a big friggin home game tonight....get it done.

Hope they have some hidden magic for Friday night or it will be a loooooong night. Western is not what we will see from Akron but maybe we will find the will to win anyway.....

Ha, I'd say him being in attendance did the trick. Gotta be our best 3 point shooting night of the year. The encouraging part was for the most part they were good looks.

Overall solid effort. Cancer played a great game. It's been shooting it well. Gonna need more of that on Friday to have a chance.

That was probably the worst officiating we've run into this year.

One complaint, I can't figure out why we didn't have Spicer in for the last possession of regulation? The only thing I can figure is he wanted a line up that would defend the three better. Even so, it seems Spicer instead of Hall would make much more sense. That shot to tie the game would've probably been a lot more difficult if he was in.

That was probably the worst officiating we've run into this year.

They completely destroyed the rhythm of the game in the second half, It was like they were getting paid per foul call after only 4-5 fouls total in the first half

Proud of this game and effort. I was actually impressed with WMU. That team is much better than their record. Good clutch foul shooting and we looked like a pretty good shooting team over all. The key to Friday against zits will be how well we contest the 3. We can be pretty good at that.
