If you do not know already, Memphis's basketball team is currently in a rough patch... I wrote a little blog entry about it and I would be honored if you guys would read it. I would like to hear your opinions on the topic and the writing. I am only 16, so I hope that gives you a different view. Thanks!
It's not bad, but I think you had some grammar errors here and there. Also, it felt a little stilted. I'd recommend reading some pieces from some established sports journalists and seeing how they handle things like flow and transition.
As far as the content goes, it's a little too brief and, even though you're clearly a fan, you should strive to be more objective. You did a good job supporting some of what you stated with some facts and statistics, but there's more nuance into the situation than merely losing basketball games. Pastner's contract, the brand of basketball he wanted to play, how he recruited, the gaff of wanting to honor Calipari, how the boosters felt then and now, the violations, etc. I feel like you didn't mention a lot of the jenga pieces that Pastner intentionally or unintentionally pulled out of Memphis basketball.
I feel like it's a good effort at your age, though. Good luck with your blog.

To add to this i would say good job! Keep writing about things you are passionate about, a career in writing is always a work in progress.
Some of the things that Hopeful suggested would make it better, so take those criticisms constructively, and you'll be that much further ahead as a writer. Hard work, and patience, will definitely pay off. You have a solid foundation to grow from.
Tough to see Memphis struggle, even though I root for one of your bigger rivals. It may be time for a change, and that may be good for Pastner too.
