Rockets play EMU@4:30PM tomorrow(Friday). Winner advances to play Kent State on Saturday.

What a heartbreaker! The Rockets battled to tie game only to fall 3-2. They have a chance to face Kent State again but need a big win today against EMU. Impressive second-half of the season! They are now 10-3 in the month of May!

Rockets had 2 baserunners in the top of the first, first on a walk, erased on a CS, 2nd HBP, stranded at first.

0-0 headed to 2nd.

EMU gets first hit of the game, followed by a nice grab by UT CF Montoya, almost doubled runner off first, runner stranded anyway.

0-0 bottom of 2.

Rockets get their first hit of the game, but it was a 2 out single, no damage.

EMU gets a hit and a SB, but runner was stranded at 2nd.

Rockets threaten, 1st and 2nd, no outs, but fail to plate any runs. A couple of force outs at 3rd, one on a sac attempt.

In the 1.3 games I have seen this season, Toledo has been called out on 5 of 5 bang bang plays with 0 or 1 outs. Most were the correct calls but geez! Catch a break... amazing fielding plays.

EMU is going to end another rocket sports season in 2016.
