Agreed. Desonta has looked great lately and I think he can run the show next year if he keeps it up. He'll be all-conference when he is a Senior.

That runner is a difficult shot, and for most players it is low-percentage. Desonta shoots it very well. He also is fearless when taking it all the way to the rim and looks comfortable shooting the three.
He needs to continue to improve his ball-handling and maybe his dish-off ability when penetrating. If he does those things while maintaining his recent level of play, he can be very special.
And, to give Murry some credit, he almost always recruited kids with likable demeanors. Desonta certainly fits that mold. It was exciting seeing his game come together last night.
There are a few of the guys that I'd gladly adopt as my own kids because they are such good guys.
I think between AJ coming back next year and Desonta improving so much, we are in for some really great energy with those two.

A.J. and Desonta both come from the rural West Tennessee area. Great basketball producing region.
