I would guess we'll be approximately a 5 point underdog tomorrow @Ohio.

Ok, I should leave it to the experts such as you. So somebody may take him as a transfer but no actual guarantee he'd be able to play- however likely. (Unless grad transfer). That is my understanding of what you are saying. Thanks for clarifying.
I still think the two should come to some understanding. Lee will try a little harder to accommodate coaches orders, coach is going to lighten up a little. That would be best for everyone
Hey, coach is fighting for a job too; either keeping his current gig or maybe one day moving up to a P5 conference. Playing Raven Lee helps him achieve that objective. They need to get along, bottom line.

His "as is" talents- taking the good with the bad. So transferring is a real possibility.
ABSOLUTELY NO WAY would this be a lower division transfer.
Most major programs will shy away given only 1 year of eligibiliity and the risk of taking on a "doghouse" player. But there are plenty of decent mid majors that will jump on the opportunity (Buffallo?). And if he is grad eligible transfer, I think that even opens things up with major programs.
So a transfer is very possible, but wouldn't necessarily improve Lee's situation. And certainly would be a bad situation for EMU. I think Murphy and Lee have to have a man to man (Not coach to kid) to figure out how they can hit restart, define reasonable expectations, etc and just move forward from all of this.
I think that Murphy and Lee have already had MANY man to mans. There's only one captain on this ship and its not Raven Lee. Frankly I don't see the problem here is with Murphy or the staff if anything I would fault them with not being tough enough. I'm not sure the potential team disruptions are worth the rewards anymore. The team didn't fall apart during the 6 game suspension.

I don't think that's the case. However, if it is, I would advise Raven to transfer to a Big 10 team and compete for a national championship. EMU needs Raven Lee more than Raven Lee needs EMU.

Bob, I agree that EMU needs Raven vs vice versa. It's unfortunate that both of them could not get on the same page. Like I've said before, if Raven was a problem (according to teammates I have not heard of one) then he should not play. If he is not a problem, and I am presuming he's not because Murphy keeps playing him, then he should play top two minutes and be allowed a mistake or two because that is what skilled veterans ranked as a top player in the conference deserves.

Ray will ride the pine on a big 10 team even more than he does now at EMU. His attitude will guarantee that.

shout out to everyone who isn't a coach or player but somehow has incredible insight into Raven's psyche. truly impressive.
anyway, i'm looking forward to the game tomorrow. i didn't hear much about Ohio before the conference season, but like you all said, they've been solid so far. this will be a fun matchup, and i'm a lot more hopeful after beating Kent on Saturday.
For the Toledo game, anyone want to drink giant beers at the Tower Inn before the game? if so, let me know. i'll be there at 10 or 10:30 with a couple other EMU hoops fans.

Gee I thought the six game suspension prior the season opening would have spoken volumes but I guess not, I guess walking off the court and into the locker room while his teammates were still trying to win the Ball State game was an "impressive" display of sportsmanship on his part. Don't need a shrink to know there is an issue here. Maybe its resolved and everyone is singing campfire songs and roasting marshmellows and then maybe again its not.

yeah, NO one here has been in the LOCKER ROOM.
We watch games on webcast (or maybe even in person at the Convo).
Posters really ought to know the difference between saying JT4 was 20 / 18 Saturday and what is happening between Lee and Murphy.
One is fact; the other is pure speculation.
What happens in Lee's mind is known to Lee and God.
The good thing about posting about games is that we are discussing something which we all can see.

I'm expecting a high scoring affair. We both score around 78 ppg and allow 73 ppg...eerily similar in that regard. All 5 of their starters hit threes pretty efficiently, which is always our kryptonite. If we can keep up with them and limit the bombers from going off TOO much, we have a chance. This would be a great game for Raven to have one of his explosions.

Wow Aaron thanks. That is quite the complement. However, it is not "insight" but rather the power of speculation. It is a skill necessary to form hypothesies that when tested properly drives scientific, technological, and societal advancement. Or it can be used recreationally to discuss completely meaningless matters such as those related to sports spectatorship.

Not me, I feel it would be in poor taste to celebrate the certain victory in front of all the bobcat fans. Kidding of course.
Do you have a link to a stream of the game for us?
