Will it impact Peyton that much? Hard to say, but I'm thinking no. His current sponsor at Papa Johns probably doesn't care. And I doubt Budweiser does either. Nor will many of his fans. I doubt his big sponsors will drop him, but it might hurt his earning ability at some point. I doubt Peyton takes much of haircut on this one.
Legacy hit? Yep. Monetary hit. Doubtful.
It wont impact him at all.

RE: Documents were released on Peyton Manning and the University of Tennessee
What would have been the reaction if Tom Brady had done this?
What would have been the reaction if Gisele had done HGH?
The thread would be 50 pages long.
Manning is the untouchable Teflon quarterback.

Did not see names named. Who were they?
Wondering if one of them was then-UT center, and current UAB AD, Mark Ingram. Would explain a lot of things.

RE: Documents were released on Peyton Manning and the University of Tennessee
Pretty disappointing. Fan of the college game, so I haven't got caught up in Brady vs. Manning over the years, but I was mildly rooting for Denver to win the Super Bowl this year.
Doesn't strike me as an attempt at a college prank. Throwing water balloons is a prank, pushing your junk in someone's face is not, and takes a different thought process. Then the coverup is pretty bad as well - not Penn State bad, but pretty bad.
Of course, there are worse examples in college football this year, with people trying to use the "prank" excuse. Take Viliseni Fauonuku, defensive tackle on the University of Utah. Here is from Sports Illustrated:
http://www.si.com/vault/2011/03/07/10604...ercussions
Quote:Fauonuku stood up and from his waistband pulled a handgun that witnesses said looked like a 9-mm. He cocked the gun, pointed it at the men and demanded their wallets. Some were shaking as they handed over their billfolds and money.
Fauonuku and his cousin left moments later, but not before Fauonuku allegedly issued a warning to the young men he'd just robbed at gunpoint. "If I hear this on the news," Fauonuku said, according to one of the victims, "I'm going to come back and kill you."
The victims told police that they took Fauonuku at his word. They didn't immediately report the crime. The incident came to light two days later, after suspicious activity showed up on a debit card stolen in the robbery. Fauonuku was arrested and admitted during police questioning that he had been involved in the crime.
On Feb. 2, less than three months after Fauonuku pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree felony robbery, he signed a letter of intent to play football at the University of Utah.
In my opinion, aiming a gun at people and threatening to kill them is a little worse than what Peyton did. Still, what he did was very offensive, very crude, and takes a twisted mind to plan and execute. I've certainly lost respect for Manning after the superbowl - and not just because he was stumping for Beer and Pizza when he should have been recognizing his team.

Just because you say it's a prank afterwards doesn't mean it shouldn't be taken fully seriously. I'm surprised one of these Youtubers hasn't been killed or seriously injured doing a prank (the best pranksters usually make sure the prankee is in on it).

Right, Malcolm Saxon (a cross-country runner, not a football teammate) witnessed the first incident.
The suit mentions two re-enactments of the incident, in which a Manning teammate took the role of the female trainer. Who re-enacted it with Manning, asks PirateMarv? Which Volunteer(s) volunteered to have Peyton's junk pressed into their face?
Having dealt with Peyton's center and good bud Ingram lately, I am curious to know.
