My hat is off to these guys. Huge win in a tough environment. And how bout Roger hitting two freebies with all the pressure on him. Great bounce back game.

We now have what amounts to a 2+ game lead with six to play since we have swept ULL. Way to go Little Rock! True road warriors with their 10th true road win!

RE: Louisiana game and postgame thread
Like anyone else, I had no idea who would win this game, but while we don't have that NBA type player on our team, I do know this is a tough bunch of good basketball players, who don't like losing, and they are lead by a damn good coach who won't let them forget the last game. I did think before the road trip that we'd probably lose one game, and I thought it would be this one, but when Monroe beat us, I had a feeling this bunch would come back strong. Great job Trojans and coaches. Ray Tucker said that Coach Adams had the scout for this game. Beard says he is a great coach.

Green came through for us today. Good job Daniel. We need him down the stretch.

RE: Louisiana game and postgame thread
Since I was out of pocket and did not get to listen to the game, I'll make my observations (frequently wrong, but never in doubt) from the box score.

We shot fewer 3s and shot them better. Hmmmm. Wonder if there is something in that.

All three shooting percentages were very good.

At the same time, we held UL to 3 of 19 from the arc. THAT is the way to win ballgames.

The usual outstanding offensive nights from Roger and Josh. And how about Jermaine? 4 of 6 from the field. 9 points 6 rebounds. Zero turnovers. His best offensive game of the year?

Probably the most significant numbers of the evening, however, were those by Daniel Green. 18 minutes. 7 points. 3 rebounds. 2 blocks and a steal. That could be the final piece for us.

If Daniel can continue to improve and give us this kind of minutes, that's gold!

We got back to what brung us. Only 8 turnovers, and we held them to 16% from the arc.

ACC schools don't have to recruit projects unless there is a real promise of definite return on their investment. If he can stay healthy, I look for Green to be a factor down the stretch.

Dayton
Villanova
Xavier
Hawaii
SMU

That is the list of D1 schools other than the Trojans with three losses or less. I have to admit that it is getting a little frustrating that the mainstream media continues to ignore us pretty completely.

My guess is that Hawaii isn't getting a lot of attention either.

I knew SMU because of watching games there now but Hawaii I did not.

They are pretty much us at this point as the are in the big west conference.
