Yes, the event info is significant.

Those who follow politics and want to attend or follow television coverage, more power to them and kudos to EMU for hosting a presidential candidate with a (h)uge following.

I'll certainly follow the media coverage of the event and I hope it shows well for EMU.

If Super is right that the crowd could be say 10K that would be an impressive show for EMU.

10K in the convo is one awesome looking spectacle.

It's good for EMU and that's all that matters for this board.

Thank you for attempting to nip overt political discussion in the bud. I don't come here to read about this candidate or that candidate. I come here to read about EMU sports. There is enough political commentary on the numerous news outlets now without it domineering this SPORTS board.

In the spirit of Bob's socialism, EMU should adopt a policy to take the grades of A and B students and give part of their grade to the D and F students (Bob)... making all of them C students. That may give some of the students a little perspective.

on the facebook event page Convo staff are saying to get there at 12:30 when the doors open if you want a chance to get in. they're expecting a lot of people. it's a 2-mile drive so i'll give it a shot at 2:30. no big loss if i don't get in. they also haven't announced any recording or anything yet. does anyone know if they'll be showing it elsewhere on campus?

Very limited handicapped access. When its first come first served it leaves the disabled at an extremely disadvantage.

Not a relevant analogy but how about the Republican analogy; the top 1% of students can buy a 4.0 GPA, minority students would be ignored and not admitted, and the curriculum would not include accepted scientific facts. An accepted scientific fact is that one party has only white candidates. The other party has white, black and Hispanic candidates.

I don't know how this helps EMU at all. That's not a swipe at Bernie Sanders. The location of where these candidates speak is rarely memorable or remarkable.

I'll have the final word on this topic. College is for learning and growing. Kudos for EMU for having a presidential candidate over to present their case for the greatest job in the land, certainly the most difficult. Listen, observe, and decide. To dismiss things out of hand, based on preconceived notions is just unintelligent. That goes for all the candidates out there. Give them a hearing and then YOU decide, not the television, what works best for you.

unreal line. if you weren't there by noon you probably didn't get in. i didn't even try. Obama + Springsteen in 2008 wasn't nearly as difficult to get in.
