With games this weekend, this board has been very quiet.

That it has, seems harder to spend the energy on discussion and game threads with the tendency of the outcomes lately.

I think that's just a response to the lack of winning. However... This team is closer than most think... I suggest everyone watch and not have any expectations... It's a YOUNG team trying to find its way.

Blashill was great at making the most of his young talent... But Murray is a system guy... He's a guy that's pushing his SYSTEM forward. Will this make us dominant? I think he has great coaching skills... But with the revolving door in college hockey I would rather have a guy that was more talent driven than system driven. Just my opinion.

Already in the second period a too many men on ice penalty costs WMU. UNO scores on a 4-3. That's bench coaching. What the heck is happening?

Broncos just don't have deep skill guys at the D. And the offensive young guys are a bit jumpy and selfish with the puck. Not sure the system is setting in.

Western can't seem to tuck anything. It seems like every week we are playing a top 15 team with perfect goaltending with 20 goal scorers.

Just after I say that Moldenhauer rockets one home from the blue line.

I really like Andy as coach... and I think he's low on talent this year with depth... Esp on D. This is a game he could steal! The too many men penalties are frustrating. Go Broncos! Only down one with a period to go!

I haven't seen us play as much this year as I would like to and have refrained from commenting much because I probably wouldn't have had much positive to add.
......But I did enjoy this game. We played well and could have even stole a win here. The team seems to have a better handle on how they want to play and what they want to do on the ice than they did earlier in the year. Defensively, we have definitely come a long way.
Really just looks like a young team that will continue to get better. I really like our talent level, to be honest. We really do have some high end skill, but even more than that, we have certainly adequate skill across the board. Like every team at every level, we would like to have more high end skilled D men and with patience, I think we will get there.
Although it has been a tough year so far for the team, the coaching staff and us fans, there is still time for a strong finish. I expect us to be better next year and even better the one after that. The foundation is being built right now, but the future looks very promising to me. Go Broncos. Play the fight song.

Eh, I watched the game, they only look good for the first minute. It was all down hill from there.

UNO is/was heading downhill, but they totally are heads and shoulders better than us.

That late goal against, in the 1st Period, was a back breaker!!!!
