I was thinking the same Tom... I thought Nevada was one of those "locked" wins for Hillary?

I don't know if it was ever a lock, but the so-called "firewall" is in the South. By the way, Project 538 now projects Hillary as a >99% favorite to win South Carolina, and has increased her lead to nearly 40 points -- 68 to 29.

The Dems award their delegates proportionately, anyway. Watch the video earlier in this thread. "This race will make it all the way to CA, Bernie will end up with well over 1000 delegates, and Hillary will receive the nom."

I'll reply to the question on Monday when I get back in the office.

You must disagree with your pastor a lot unless you attend a touchy feely church.

Politically we probably have next to nothing in common...but he's my pastor, not my elected official.

So you don't attend the church of socialism?/

Simple Mr. Alphabet...you don't know my views, or apparently Jesus, the original Socialist. And since when do only rich people make over $400,000...or the $10 million amount which is really the main area where Bernie has proposed a significant tax increase.

My church works with all sorts of folks in Honduras and Burundi. Trust me, I'm filthy rich.

Mr. Alphabet? More like Mr. All-American.

Not the Jesus was a socialist line. Good grief.

Any tax increase is government theft.

My church works with an orphanage in Africa.

No.

This is a BS meme that the left keeps trotting out.

Where did Jesus say, "Let Caesar take care of the poor"? Oh, yeah, that's right, he didn't.

More to the point, where did he say, "Pay a bunch of money to Caesar, who's going to tell you how much he is doing to help the poor at the same time that he is screwing them to the wall"? Name a truly socialist country, and I would mark socialism as beginning when there is massive income redistribution (which rules out Scandinavia, among others), where the poor have gotten better? Russia? No. China? No. Venezuela? No. North Korea? No. Name one, you can't.

Awesome. We do a lot of work in Burundi. We recently got a medical clinic opened there and we provide funds to their BUSOMA (Burundi, Soy and Sorghum, Maize) feeding project for the malnourished. My wife got to go there last March.

Yet, you think Jesus is a Socialist. All of your good charity cannot change your slander.

I pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Hopefully, your church does the same. It is a great charity!

My past churches did the Christmas Child thing. However my current church does similar stuff for kids directly in our community instead with Christmas gifts and then winter gear like coats, hats, gloves and scarfs. We also do a weekly "backpack" feeding program with the local elementary school. We currently fill packs of 7 or 8 food items for almost 150 kids per week.

Our other major outreach is providing water filters and mosquito nets to Honduras.

But no...I don't believe Jesus was a true Socialist by the modern definition of the word. However, he was way more invested in social and community causes then your typical "conservative" ones.

Good to hear that your church does so much. How large is your congregation?

Conservative care plenty about the community, we just don't think the government can fix it.

Besides, faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior is all that is needed. The rest is extra.

I think we average close to 1,000 a week for all three services.
