Just saw where Fox is trying to make the next Wolverine movie (last with Hugh Jackman) rated R after the success of Deadpool.

Wolverine could be a rated "R" movie but it doesn't have to be. Suicide Squad could be "R" rated and probably should. But most comic book movies should probably stay PG-13. Characters like The Punisher going to Netflix is probably the route most R rated comic book characters will take.

What I read suggested they were trying to make it R because of the "Old Man Logan" story line. I don't read the comics so I don't know what that would entail but it would have to be for more than just the violence I would assume.

Deadpool was Ryan Reynolds Blade 3 humor done right. The in jokes, the total over the top humor, and the raunch in parts was a great blend for a movie like this.
