They should because some were just defending their view while being ridiculed for it!! I'm surprised I wasn't banned!! I guess my shouting wasn't derogatory enough!!?

RE: I think...
Coach Collins from Tech High broke Melrose's 50 some odd game winning streak in 1974 I think. That Melrose's team had Gunn, Bradley and Wright on it. I was there. Would coach Circles around Pastner.

RE: I think...
The late, great Jim Mathis taught more to his 6th grade St. Dominic teams than what our guys are learning.

Didn't Tech have Cornelius McFagddon (sp!) on that team?
I swear, I think the 1974-77 years in Memphis hoops was #1 in the whole darn country. Melrose, Southside, Hamilton, Northside, Tech, Fairley, East, Raleigh-Egypt...
I did not rank those, BTW! Just listing them off the top of my head...

I played for St. Paul's in the early to mid 80's, and always hated playing (and getting destroyed by) St. Dominic's. Not sure it Mathis was the coach of those teams.
I think it was Van Snyder's Bellevue Baptist teams that were pretty awesome as well.

He was coaching in the mid 80's. Van Snyder's teams killed my St. Louis teams in the '90's and we were not bad. Easterwood and Ronnie Robinson took down my YMCA teams.

CBHS played all of those teams tight at home. Luckett could shoot like crazy. Still can.
