First time I've ever heard him called that. Don't know where your game announcer got this info. Frankly, your announcer sounds ignorant. McBride has worked hard to get himself into better shape. Dan Hoard is a hall of fame broadcaster. One of the best in the business. He doesn't just spout off on air (he leaves that for Chuck Machock), so he had to have heard that somewhere, even if the source was inaccurate.

Personally idc because it's just basketball, I just thought I'd make fun of the premise of a thread for this.

I saw him live and in person on Saturday. He is one big guy. My question is why isnt he playing on Saturdays in the fall for the Golden Knights fball team ?

Matt has always been a great (albeit streaky) shooter. Good news is that he is in fact a FS Junior. Once we upgrade to BJ who is a PG defenses have to cover and assuming we get a new coach (fingers crossed), Matt could average 10-15 next year.

my bad. i didn't see he redshirted last year. i was also impressed with tacko. he really can change a game. and he's only a freshman
