ODU's Trey Freeman was voted the winner of the CUSA Player Of The Week in men's basketball yesterday for games played last week.

It was the 3rd consecutive week that he has won the award. He is the first player to ever win the award 3 consecutive times in the history of the conference.

Best player in the league, imo. God for him.

The kid's awesome, scored 37 against the Herd out of ODU's 75 pts., absolutely unguardable from the few games I've seen him.

So glad he's a senior!

I think he has to be one of the only college basketball players today that can hit with regularity a 15 ft jump shot...You think this would not be too hard, but apparently it is for everyone but this guy....

Nah....Still too many like Goodowl on this board, who on the day when Brett Favre easily gets into the NFL Hall of Fame promptly brings up old negative news about him to rehash...very sad.

Not sure what his Mother Theresa moments are (!) but the best evidence is his fellow players love him. No jealousy whatever. When have you heard of a scorer like Trey not be at least a little hated by the other players. His interactions with the fans and the community are terrific. Great student and from a solid family. I've never seen anyone who loves to play BB more than Trey. The poster child for "gym rat".
