That said had we swapped losses, beat Illinois and lost to ISU we would be sitting better for running the table. Our opponents including conference just screwed the pooch this season. Hopefully C-USA will rebound some next season. Not going to say it cant get any worse because it sure could. We have zero, nada, chance now and I still think we have a loss coming at MTSU or LT.

A loss coming from Giddy Potts. How Haase missed him is mind blowing dont think he got a interest letter.

Not or AB but Davis has been to the big dance recently and might knocked somebody off i cant remember. If thats the case taking three schools to the tournament is a big deal. Would love it if Haase reached out to him for a Bartow Classic or Arkansas.

It's because he is a terrible coach and doesn't know what he's doing.

I was looking at Texas Southerns (Davis' team) schedule this year. They played a tough OOC schedule. At New Mexico, at Creighton, at Syracuse, at Washington State, at Miss. State, Clemson neutral, at Baylor, at Stephen F Austin. They lost all of those games and actually only had one OOC win....at UT-San Antonio.

They are 9-0 in conference though and are likely favored to go back to the dance.

Almost all, if not all, of their out of conference games are "money games" on the road to help pay the program. I remember Coach marsh telling me that.

On this forum it was written that a Davis led UAB team would be playing Tex Southern in the next season along with other known games. The coaching change happened and I would not blame anybody on all sides if they said"maybe we should look to change that". I am sure some may have said it a little harsher.

In 2012 UAB was scheduled to open the season at home vs. Texas Southern. On August 2, 2012 Texas Southern named Mike Davis as their (then) interim head coach. It was best that Coach Haase's first game not be against a team coached by his immediate predecessor. That would have be extremely awkard.

I've never seen a coach repeatedly quit on his team in the conference tournament. Not even once before or since. But I saw Mike Davis quit 4 years in a row.

Any chance you get to knock Haase, huh? Haase had more wins where it counted(in the postseason) but who cares about that, right? Davis lost a play in game to a medicocre acc team. Haase knocked off a top ten team. But you will always side with Davis.

Nall just stating facts, lol Davis had a couple of 20 win regular seasons before Haase finally did it this season. Also those 14 other teams that beat us shouldve been able to beat Iowa St. Lol some act like theyre a powerhouse they aint won squat. 05-stirthepot

Haase had the most losses of any tournament team in school history.
