Cam just cost himself millions
Newton behaves like an ass during the press conference, and then walks out.

Deon Sanders- "Your dabbing and dancing when you win, and you act like that when you lose. You can't do that!"

Agreed.

Came off as immature and petulant. Sanders also had his moments in that regard, knows it and owns-up to it.

Could not understand why Carolina didn't roll Newton periodically to help avoid the Denver rush, which was impressive. Throw some quick, short, hurry-up passes to slow them down. They kept Newton in the pocket to throw to receivers running long routes when he did not have time to hit them. No adjustments. Horrible coaching on Carolina's part.

That still does not excuse Newton's behavior at the press conference, however. You had a bad game. Own up to it, praise your opponent, and move on.

How is it going to cost him millions? Who, exactly, is going to decline to offer him an endorsement deal because he acted like a brat after the game? :/

What a reach.

And who is going to want a petulant brat, who is also afraid to dive for fumbles deep in his own team's zone, to endorse their product?

Newton played and acted almost as if he was holding something back. Say it ain't so, Cam. 05-nono

Oh god, get over yourself. You act like he's the first athlete to act like a petulant brat after losing a huge game.

Newton did act like a brat after the game and I was wholly unsurprised. Dude never lost a big game in his entire life. But you're acting like all these endorsers are going to be jumping ship and you two are out of your minds. Next season when he throws for 35 TDs against 10 INT and rushes for 10 TDs and he's shown giving those balls to little boys and girls the endorsement checks will be back do normal.

Go buy some smelling salts and take a big whiff. You two are nuts.

It's pro sports.

It's scripted. It's obvious. It's unfortunate and disturbing.

Cam just watching that fumble that he could have easily fallen on....icing on the cake. The NFL is more spectacle than athletic competition. Especially the super bowl. Everyone talking about the halftime show, commercials, post-game interviews, etc....what a joke. You would never know a football game happened.

Charm, if u don't think he'll lose endorsements, you're nuts. He may not lose existing endorsements, but he'll lose future ones until he does a PR mea culpa.

Luckily for Cam potential sponsors aren't crotchety, sanctimonious old men like yourself. He's not beating his girlfriend or driving drunk, he acted like an immature man child after losing a big game for the first time in his life, hardly a felonious offense in the world of corporate sponsorship.

If you weren't so detached from reality, you'd understand Cam is VERY popular among children and young adults and that's what matters. When he's back to throwing and running for touchdowns and helping light up little childrens' faces after giving them game balls, we'll act like we never had this conversation.

Get a grip.

Cam didn't even try to "get a grip."

Well, Charm City Bronco, I thought of you when I read the following story:

http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/8-ye...ailsignout

You may be right and bless that little kid...but Cam still shoulda dove for the blasted fumble.

04-cheers
