Absolutely, it wasn't just talent as some allude to. Our offense recognized defensive sets and knew how to attack them. Defensively we understood positioning and rarely gave up wide open shots. Our teams ran inbounds plays to perfection. Kirks coaching abilities extended far beyond Keith Lee. Hank McDowell benefited tremendously from Kirks coaching.
