Good job closing it out. At least from what I could tell from Gametracker.

Well done Owls! Nice poise down the stretch. Terrific free throw shooting - especially for such a young team.

Another really nice rebounding effort tonight too (particularly from Egor and MLE). Congrats on a nice effort and congrats too on Big B getting his uniform hung in the rafters. Lots of former players and some ex-coaches in the stands too.

Nice to see these guys back on Autry Court at Rice. Big B looks great.

Good win for the Owls tonight over SoMiss. Evans and Koulechov both upped their averages a bit, and LSU's Ben Simmons only scored 16 tonight, so Evans will increase his scoring avg lead to top freshman in US again.

Cahsaw with a couple of 3pters helped. Egor had the double-double again.

With the debate tonight, couldn't watch both, but nice to see that Owls closed out this homestand with a win. Now go get some road victories!

The rim on the side of the student section is cursed. Seems like we rim out a ton on that side.

Great effort overall tonight. Got a couple of new fans in the house tonight and they had a good time, so hopefully will come back for the next one!

very high ceiling

The only two I ever saw and saw such a upwards potential were Michael and Akeem as freshmen

RE: Rice vs S Miss
Drone has improved. He was so inconsistent the first half of the season but he has improved a lot.

I get the feeling that Drone is going to be the determining factor in whether or not we improve in a major way next year. Drone isn't a natural; he's only going to be good if he "learns" the game. And there are times when he looks like he's been a really good student.

With the reinforcements we have coming in next year, a consistent Drone could really push us over the top. And by "top," I mean legitimately challenging for a conference title.
