I'll take a win but we won in spite of Josh today. No Martin or Marhall in favor of Jake, Crawford and Craft while we were struggling on offense?

This was a home game versus a bubble team. On paper we are pretty comparable teams but unfortunately we have bad losses that take us out of the bubble discussion

CN shot 22% on wide open 3's.

We won despite at the 45 sec mark, having a 4 point lead with the ball and 15 secs left on the shot clock we take a shot. Why didn't JP have then back the ball out and force CN to foul. The lack of any game management or even a basic knowledge of it with this staff never ceases to amaze me.

Cronin made adjustments at half and almost came back. If they hadn't have played so poorly in the first half and dug themselves such a huge hole they could have but in the end avery bailed us out with an off balance three.

This is a bad loss for a Cincy team that is bubbling

I thought the same thing. Lousy time management, and a bad shot. Not sure if that was on Josh or Dedric, though.

Nice to get the win!

It has to be on the coaching staff. Just like DL not running the baseline on the inbounds play where we got bailed out by a questionable call.

That is why there is a coach with multiple assistants. All highly compensated, supposed experts in their field. And no one told DL he could run the baseline.

How did he coach well. Drawing up a 'off balance' 3 for Woodson?

That is a drill you run between every game you play. Maybe 3 minutes of practice time.

With about four of five minutes left in the game and Cincy down by a possession or two, there was a series where they bricked 3 threes. They kept getting the rebound and didn't try to take it in. That looked like a poorly coached series. If that was a disciplined team, they would have taken the lead in the last couple of minutes but they kept doing boneheaded things.

That still doesn't explain how Martin has a great game against Uconn then doesn't see the floor at all, especially while we were struggling on offense with Crawford and Craft.
