Then why bring it up again and refer to his video on conference expansion?

I read more as "we're making progress, we always do, we're good."

Something is coming, he's excited about the future, and he's working hard to meet his agenda.

My guess is they sold the naming rights finally. If the bball teams was actually doing well still maybe they would have announced something at the cram the convo game coming up, but who knows when now.
