Just took a peek at the MTSU-FIU halftime stats. Zero points for both Upshaw and Harris at the half! Is that all Diaz? (We in Norfolk would love to know just how to put a freeze on your big guys.)

Worst cheating by referees I've seen in a while. I didn't say incompetence, I said BLATANT CHEATING! What a joke.

A few those traveling calls against Hamilton were awful. He takes a half step when he picks up his dribble then two steps. Can't single out Hamilton for what every player does every game. Those were just awful.

It seem like a foul was called every possession in the second half and that's no way to play basketball. 60 fouls is crazy. It slows the game down and hurts a team like Tech.

But the refs didn't lose that game, Tech did. Tech has to have a killer instinct and a take these teams out of the game especially when they have a double digit lead on the road. The UNT kid hits those 4 or 5 threes in a row and they are back in it and Tech folds even though play was stopped almost every possession.

I didn't watch it, but 31 fouls on LT/33 FT attempts to 28 fouls on UNT/40 FT attempts looks pretty even. What did they do that would be considered cheating outside of calling a ton of fouls on both teams?

LA Tech E. McCree fouled out of game
LA Tech M. Holden fouled out of game
LA Tech J. Boykins fouled out of game
LA Tech D. Jean fouled out of game
Four "traveling" calls (turnovers) on the same Tech player and all four whistled by the same referee

UNT J Reese fouled out of game

We suck - we can beat Rice on the road like everyone else but any team that can play we are toast

Raiders were down 9 and have fought back to take a 4 point lead over FIU after Darnell Harris's old fashioned 3-point-play. Crowd is alive.

MT escapes bad officials, horrific FT shooting, and letting FIU back in the game by winning by 1, 67-66...

You forgot to add that the 1 point win was from a brain-fart foul with .4 seconds left in the game.

Good game 'raiders.

Actually it was 4 seconds but yeah. FIU is tough.

ODU beats Charlotte in OT 74-69. The 49'ers chipped at the lead late in regulation, and took a 3 pt. lead late. Trey Freeman tied the game with a 3 ptr. with 9 seconds left. Freeman finished with 38 for the game.

Freeman scored 38 points and his family cheered loudly in front of me. He's now my least favorite player in CUSA.

He put on a show tonight.

Freeman is unstoppable. He had more than half ODU's points tonight. The rest of the team is average. Too bad we could not beat Freeman.

So how will ODU be when freeman is gone? Is he a senior? Seems like he's been around forever and I'm sure y'all get tired of answering this but I've been in an MT bubble

He is a senior and only his second year playing for us after his transfer. There is a lot of talent coming in next year with recruits and transfers sitting on the bench. There is probably a starting line up sitting out this year. We will be fine. The rest of the league better worry about the rest of our team heating up. Freeman is starting to get some support.

I'll take my chances with Freeman gone against your talent coming in. That guy is good.
