Can SMU and Louisville play in the Vegas tournament?

That throws one more double bye slot into the mix. There are 8 teams with 3-5 losses in conference competing for 3 slots. Carolina appears to be a lock for one spot.

I'd hate to be the contender who has to play Louisville in the last two weeks of the season. Those guys are going to be pissed.

And for what? Did anybody think that star athletes at a high profile program like Louisville need help getting laid?

The real question is this Pitino's last season as Louisville's head coach!

SU is one of those teams. They have to play at Louisville.

You've been there.it's a difficult time. Its a Shame for the one's that weren't involved. They said there was an interview that They learned about Yesterday. Wonder if Andre came forward.

Yep! Sure have. Posters are going to keep taking cheap shots at you. The saving grace for us last season was that the team stunk so bad that its likely that they wouldnt have gone to the tourney anyway. Even if they got to the tourney, they may have been one and done. What has to be really sad for Louisville fans, and especially the players, is that they were having a very solid year. Just hope that this season is the only post season ban. You never know with those clowns running the NCAA.

Could it be a power play by Ramsey to save his job? He's usually extremely passive but now he makes a decision on his own, overnight? He didn't even consult Jurich? This is way out of character for him.

For the good of the conference, you guys need to lie down for teams trying to make the NCAA tourney.

You do realize the fewer the teams that make the tourney, the less money we make right?

Yeah, but I don't believe a bunch of college athletes should be asked to lie down when they are there to play competitive basketball.

Having said that, in order of importance to the school: 1) Jurich, 2) Pitino, 3) Ramsey.

Now, before I get my ish jumped for ranking the school president third...I would simply say, another --possibly better?-- president can be found. But it was the AD that put UofL in the P5 designated parking lot in the first place.

Ramsey is 2nd mainly due to all the controversy surrounding him.

Now he just alienated his HOF coach and the best AD in the country (and VP of the university which some don't know). I half wonder if he wanted to do this as an eff you to the University because he knows he's being ousted.

I have to assume you are either joking or just trying to be provocative. There is simply no justification for a college team to go in the tank.

Va Tech has to be feeling better about their chances in the ACCT. Before this, there would have been 6 teams playing on the first day. With Louisville out, only four will. Right now, it appears likely that the two Techs would be battling for that last first round bye, with Va Tech in the lead.
