Yep, I mentioned it, though I've hardly coined it (I've seen the term quite a few places and it's interchangeable with "socially liberal").

Yes, but gay marriage. Gay marriage. LGBTQIA+. Gays. Homosexuals. That's all that matters to these people.

If Rubio wins the nomination the Republicans will win back the white house, if he loses the nomination the Democrats will keep it.

In other words, equal rights. And Cruz wants to overturn the SCOTUS gay marriage ruling. As for marijuana, Bernie is the only candidate proposing removing marijuana from the federal class 1 ban, unless I missed something.

NO. In other words, gay marriage. And Cruz, along with anyone else cannot overturn the SCOTUS ruling, so stop with the feel mongering. It shouldn't even be a freaking issue anymore. But it's the SJWs who continue to perpetuate the pointless conversation.

OMG HE'S AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE WHAT A SHITLORD GAY-HATING NAZI: Bernie Sanders voters.

Indeed, but that does not matter to these people.

He himself is personally against it, so he is a gay-hating oppressive Nazi shitlord.

Removing the ban equates to sending the issue to the states, which is Cruz's position.

Quote:“I actually think this is a great embodiment of what Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis called ‘the laboratories of democracy,’” the Texas senator said. “If the citizens of Colorado decide they want to go down that road, that’s their prerogative. I personally don’t agree with it, but that’s their right.”

And I was incorrect in my assertion that that he was the only GOP candidate left that holds that position. Surprisingly, Jeb Bush also has the same position. Not sure where Trump stands.

Cruz bashed Obama for not enforcing DOMA and federal marijuana laws. He's not a state's rights guy. And the president makes SCOTUS appointments, so yeah his beliefs matter.

And yes gay marriage is about equal rights. Equal marriage rights. Future generations will be embarrassed we even argue about this, as we do about the 60s civil rights fight

He was always open to reform.

Quote: A whole lot of folks now are talking about legalizing pot....And you can make arguments on that issue. You can make reasonable arguments on that issue. The president earlier this past year announced the Department of Justice is going to stop prosecuting certain drug crimes. Didn't change the law.

You can go to Congress. You can get a conversation. You could get Democrats and Republicans who would say, "We ought to change our drug policy in some way," and you could have a real conversation. You could have hearings. You could look at the problem. You could discuss commonsense changes that maybe should happen or shouldn't happen. This president didn't do that. He just said, "The laws say one thing"—and mind you, these are criminal laws; these are laws that say if you do X, Y, and Z, you will go to prison. The president announced, "No, you won't."

http://reason.com/blog/2015/02/26/today-...federalist

He has evolved a bit on marijuana, like a lot of democrats and would not crack down on the states, unlike Rubio. I'm not trying to talk you into voting for the guy, I know that will never happen. Just pointing out that the narrative that he is the right wing nut in this race is false. In fact, he is to the left of Rubio on foreign policy, marijuana, and government surveillance. Huge issues for younger voters. Rubio will get crushed by Hillary/Bernie and the SJWs over this.

Holy crap this is gold. GOLD JERRY.

"Socially tolerant." Is this a new SJW term that you coined?

Actually Motown Bronco coined it first, at least in this thread. I have no idea if it lifted from someplace else.

Gay marriage is about...gay marriage. Why aren't you on the front lines in the polygamy or incest marriage fight? You just waxed poetic about "equal marriage rights", but you an I know you aren't for that at all. You're an intolerant bigoted oppressive shitlord!!!!!!!

http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/poll...piac-23675

http://www.quinnipiac.edu/news-and-event...aseID=2321

In the Democratic race nationwide, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has 44 percent, with Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont at 42 percent, and 11 percent undecided. This compares to a 61 - 30 percent Clinton lead in a December 22 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University Poll.

Sanders and Rubio are the strongest candidates in general election matchups. If former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg runs, he hurts Sanders more than he hurts any of the top Republican contenders.

Among Republicans, 30 percent say they "would definitely not support" Trump, while 15 percent say no to Cruz and 7 percent say no to Rubio.

Sanders has the highest favorability rating among top candidates, while Trump has the lowest.

"Democrats nationwide are feeling the Bern as Sen. Bernie Sanders closes a 31-point gap to tie Secretary Hillary Clinton,"
said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

"And despite the Iowa setback, Donald Trump is way ahead of his GOP opponents."

"But that's not the whole story nine months before Election Day. In mano a mano, or mano a womano, face-offs with all contenders, Sanders and Rubio would be the candidates left standing," Malloy added.

"Although he is characterized as the New York counterpunch to Trump, Mayor Mike Bloomberg is more the nemesis of Bernie than he is of Donald."

General election matchups among American voters show:
Clinton tops Trump 46 - 41 percent;
Clinton ties Cruz 45 - 45 percent;
Clinton trails Rubio 48 - 41 percent;
Sanders thumps Trump 49 - 39 percent;
Sanders edges Cruz 46 - 42 percent;
Sanders and Rubio are tied 43 - 43 percent.

If Bloomberg runs as a third party candidate in some contests, results are:
Sanders at 35 percent, with Trump at 36 percent and Bloomberg at 15 percent;
Sanders at 37 percent, with Cruz at 36 percent and Bloomberg at 15 percent.
Sanders has a 44 - 35 percent favorability rating among American voters. Ratings for other candidates are:
Negative 39 - 56 percent for Clinton;
Negative 34 - 59 percent for Trump;
Negative 36 - 42 percent for Cruz;
Positive 42 - 28 percent for Rubio;
Negative 20 - 25 percent for Bloomberg with 53 percent who don't know enough about him to form an opinion.

The world is slowly coming to grips with the fact that Her Highness really is a greedy, lying felon to be.

I think Bernie is a nut on a lot of topics, but at least the guy is sincere about the opinions he holds. Her Highness believes whatever her pollsters and focus groups tell her to believe that week.
