One more month to go on the Conroy death-march. One more possible victory (the home game vs. ECU) but even that is no better than a 50/50 shot.

I feel his pain and have never heard anything bad about him, on a personal level. But he is simply in way over his head.

After watching 3/4 of the season, the pre-season rankings look more in line with the quality of play...though I would put Temple up with Cincy and reverse Houston and Memphis. Otherwise the rest looks right to me.

That USF loss hurts more by the day and blowing a lead vs UConn. [/align]

Has been pretty accurate. Memphis is under performing. UCF still hard to tell they have beaten USF,ECU and Tulane all bottom feeders

I think we were about where we should be in the preseason polls, maybe one spot higher. We beat the teams we are supposed to beat but lose comfortably to the teams we are supposed to lose to.

This AAC Poll was taken back in Oct...obviously when no one knew UCF's BJ Taylor would be out for the year...because if that was known at the time, wouldn't be surprised if UCF would have been selected 11th, instead of 9th.

UCF lost all 3 games to ECU last year and split with USF last season too...so its nice that UCF won all 4 games vs those teams this year...even without BJ.

Likewise ECU had a full roster back in October, versus right now; as they they have been playing short handed due to all of the injuries.

It is not hard to tell. UCF is not good. UCF has beaten 3 bad conference teams and has been been pretty thoroughly raped by any good conference team that they have played. UCF is bad.

UCF played with 7 or 8 scholarship players all last year and was short handed. Now the shoe is on the other foot and we got the sweep, even with our best player out for the year. All teams deal with injuries.

ECU was short of players last year too. That is part of the reason that Lebo needs to go.

It would appear that Tulane is in way over its head, both football and basketball, just sayin'.

Every team has injuries. ECU is just a very meh basketball team--last year, this year, every year.
