Georgia Southern's class is very good considering we are only 2 years into FBS football. Ranked 72 currently according to the 247 composite but if we hadn't had three flips just before NSD I think we would have been in the 60's. More important than the rankings we filled our needs and layered on depth in several key areas.

Ask me in about 3 years....

Don't you realize how regionally biased these recruiting rankings are? If your school recruits in only one area (SMU - all Texas recruits...) the numbers will be totally off.

Take UConn - was ranked last in the AAC... just like they always were in the Big East... yet there's 17-20 UConn guys in the pros (depending on current rosters) and UConn had a first round draft pick last year. At 17 (NCAAs number) UConn is right on par with North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, UCLA, Louisville, West Virginia, Michigan State ( http://www.ncaa.com/ncaa-football-nfl )

As for my Buckeyes... happy with the class but thinking Urban may be done with coaching by the time they are seniors.

We've had our best class since we moved up. And we were ahead of Purdue for what is worth.
I'm a Purdue fan, I'm pissed at the Purdue Adminstration, Morgan Burke, and Darrell Hazell.

Hey I was really excited with the UMass class! Best recruiting class we have ever had. Significant jump from previous years and our new Independent schedule was a huge reason for that.
