Plans are in the works for an Extreme Sports Park to be part of the Wild East part of the Tar River Legacy Plan. Part of what was to happen was to create trails and a park that would showcase Greenville's BMX talent. This would have been right up Mirra's alley.

Maybe this tradegy could be used for good, fundraising on behalf of Mirra with the park to be named for Dave Mirra...would be a nice tribute to the guy that started it.
