RE: 2016 AAC Recruiting Team Rankings per RIVALS
Tulane had from January 14 to recruit a great class with outstanding new head head coach Willie Fritz coming in. Great job Willie and staff. Roll Tulane Green Wave!

Basically every kid we wanted we ended up getting. 2 de-committed but we replaced them similar level. Taggart did a fantastic job as usual of landing exactly what we needed. At present we have 4 QBs who can all run out system with 1 being a 5 star, one being a 4 star and 2 high rated 3 star... and both of those guys will have to sit for 2 years learning our system.
This is why I think USF has turned the corner. For the first time in nearly 6 years we have depth. Every single position we have depth and can actually sit freshman and let them learn. Many of us were down on Taggart when he didnt win the the first two years, but the plan is coming together and he has built to sustain success. The fact that we landed a recruiting class almost at the top (by average ranking) for 3 straight years is going to pay dividends long term.
So you're saying you may actually finish a season ranked or win a division or conference title for once? Congrats on the recruiting class/classes.

Nobody gets "every kid they wanted" unless you're one of the top classes in the country, and even they miss on players. You can't tell me USF didn't lose recruits that they wanted to other schools
