ODU and University of Virginia sign three game series.
ODU and UVA signed a three game contract today which has the Monarchs visiting Charlottesville in 2018 and 2022, and UVA coming to Norfolk in 2020.
Previously ODU had said they were not interested in two-for-ones, but given the new COA costs, and reduced media payout it looks as though we will be scheduling a money game every other year.

An even series would have been preferred, but I think this is a good deal and is likely the beginning of more ODU-UVA games in Norfolk. Plus, Charlottesville is a very easy drive, and a nice place to spend a weekend.

That is a great get for you guys. A two for one isn't the end of the world. It's an in-state P5 school and is an easy drive for fans and players alike. And is a winnable game.

USM had a two game series with Virginia in 2009 and 2011. It was a home and home. USM won both games. The play USM fans will never forget was Fedora called a fake punt with our punter kicking out of our end zone. It worked for a first down. The Virginia fans were in a state of shock. It was awesome.
