I'd go ahead and claim 3 times as many since Coastal is on deck for SBC membership.

Hell, Coastal has as many former players in the Super Bowl as CUSA.

Coaching side, Ray Brown who played at AState is OL coach for the Panthers.

Troy has one on each team. Only G5 school to have one on each and one of only 12 programs total to

Demarcus Ware and Mario Addison

Didn't realize Troy produced Addison too. You could make an argument for them as DLU over the past 10 or so years.

Last 6 players TXST had/has in the NFL
1 DT (played 8 years)
2 LB
2 CB
1 LT (although he claims TXST nobody on our forum even knows who this guy is)

Not sure anyone on D goes this year unless they absolutely amaze at Pro Day and/or in mini camps.

I'd have to say that was a pretty productive combo...Dillard and Roberts weren't too shabby either...

Steve Wilks is in his fourth year as Carolina's secondary coach in 2015 and first as assistant head coach. Wilks played defensive back at Appalachian State from 1987-91 and finished his career with 103 tackles, four interceptions and four blocked kicks.
