Wow I just hope he doesn't go into the same profession as a former WR we once recruited.

That kid was a great fit for us. We'll never know what could have been. He would have played for us last fall had he stuck around.

you didn't see it coming? really?

he transferred to K State. he wasn't a starter at a MAC school and expected to play in the Big 12? nope. the kid could have played for us this season, but apparently "The Hard Way" didn't register with him.

I met him tailgating when he was being recruited. He definitely passed the eyeball test.

I heard he did not like it, call it homesick. But i credit him for not doing something he apparently lost interest in

How do you know that he expected to play at Kansas St? Did you ever think we just homesick and wanted to play near where he is from? What a stupid comment.

The kid didn't do it out of spite. I've heard about him being homesick. Now, despite him leaving for K-State football, he is now a student where he is most comfortable.

He's growing and getting an education. Props to him.

Truth is, we all make some bad decisions when emotions are involved. He's the only person now who has to deal with his decisions. I was just sorry he didn't stick around long enough to see what he could've become in a Huskie uniform. Good luck to him.

MD...didn't you promise he was going to make NIU look stupid? Whoops.

Agree with others, good for him for doing what's best and concentrating on school if he's done with football.
