Southern Miss: Head strength and conditioning coach Zac Woodfin has agreed to a new two-year deal, according to the Hattiesburg American. Woodfin join the USM staff in 2015.

I'll just say this. Talks took place and it didn't happen. I don't blame either side but we did make a serious run at him. Not my place to air the laundry. Not sure anyone has to eat any crow. You seem to be taking pleasure in him not returning which is not surprising.

Congratulations to Zac in getting a nice raise and contract extension out of it all.

Yeah, they brought him in to work with S&C. He was the OL coach at Jacksonville State.
