Rate the recruiting classes
How would you rate your recruiting class? I'm good with RU's, especially considering the time constraints on the coaching staff and the S-show the 2015 season became. RU seemed to fill some holes. Look out for the Trey Sneed kid (RB), and QB Tylin Oden could be a star if he hits the weights a bit.

If I had to rank the B1G recruiting classes, it would be:
1) Rutgers
2-14) All the other chumps.

RE: Rate the recruiting classes
Here is how the B1G ranked according to 247 Composite rankings. The national rank in parentheses.

1. Ohio State (4) - well here's a shocker, OSU at the top.
2. Michigan (5) - 29, yes 29 commits and NONE below a 3 star.
3. Penn State (19)
4. Michigan State (22)
5. Nebraska (24)
6. Wisconsin (32)
7. Maryland (42)
8. Iowa (47)
9. Minnesota (48)
10. Northwestern (51)
11. Indiana (56)
12. Illinois (71)
13. Rutgers (74)
14. Purdue (80)

RE: Rate the recruiting classes
Rivals broke it down as follows:
1) Ohio State (3)
2) Michigan (4)
3) Michigan State (20)
4) Penn State (23)
5) Nebraska (25)
6) Wisconsin (33)
7) Maryland (40)
8) Iowa (42)
9) Northwestern (47)
10) Minnesota (50)
11) Indiana (56)
12) Illinois (67)
13) Purdue (73)
14) Rutgers (76)

Not a good year for Rutgers recruiting. Between the end of Kyle Flood error with the second losing season in 3 years and then a coaching change I wasn't expecting much anyway. Next year's class will hopefully be noticeably improved. If we can get into the top 45, I'd be very pleased in year 2.

1 word to describe Michigan class, Woooooo! The B1G did good overall. I want to see how Oden develops at Rutgers, he's a good QB.

RE: Rate the recruiting classes
I'm feeling okay with Penn State's recruiting class. It was in the top five at the start of the season. Then it fell to the top ten during the season. Then we finished somewhere between 17th and 23rd depending where you look. We finished in a strong position but it was so much better at the start of the process, it leaves me with a feeling of "what could have been." I'm not disappointed and recruiting rankings aren't everything.
