I said at the beginning of the thread that things could change. They did, State managed to jump the powerhouse that is Kentucky to finish ahead of them, Mizzou, and Vandy. They got Simmons and Kobe Jones to stay at home - that's HUGE and I give em credit. But they lost the best player in town and a legacy from up the road. The class overall is really weak.

Things didn't end as bad as they looked a few days before NSD, but they aren't good enough to gloat.

Who's gloating? Maybe the guy gloating how bad recruiting is, except when it really wasn't that bad.

It turned out better than many expected, but it was still bad.

That was my overall point. State had a great class last year and had 2 of the best years in recent history, yet recruiting seemed to be going the wrong way. I found that strange...
