RE: Athlon Pre-Spring MAC Starting QB Ranking
Well, they haven't seen Woodside for a year, so they don't have a lot to go on. I felt that he made huge strides year-over-year, so I think he is going to impress. Plus, now he has a QB coach who has been a QB coach.

Now if we an just get more than two receivers coached up to where they can catch more than 1 ball per half.

While Woodside didn't pick up any game experience last year; I suspect he spent a lot of time studying the game (reading defenses) and watching lots of film as well as physical conditioning and practice. He had a very good year in 2014 and next year he should be even better.

I feel confident that barring injuries the offense is going to be just fine next year so IMO the kind of success the team enjoys next season will depend largely on how well the defense plays which will depend in part on depth----they did lose a great deal of experience and talent thru graduation this year.
