That kooky vice president guy was Admiral James Stockdale, a man who deserved to be treated better than he was.
The only place I disagreed seriously with Ross was his opposition to NAFTA. As I explained in post #33 above, Perot was actually a free trade guy but he opposed NAFTA because it was taking money out of his pocket.

The man deserved respect, but he had no business being nominated in the first place. My father reported to him in the early 70's and he was concerned about his faculties then.

True enough. Something I never liked about Perot was dragging him through that election.
Everyone talks about the pre-packaged managed-message politicians and how fake and useless they are.
But some regular guy runs and he has no business running because he isn't polished, makeuped, manicured, massaged, and programmed like a politician.
We sit here and watch these two parties preside over a slow collapse and bankruptcy....but can't bring ourselves to vote for a third party because they might not be "mainstream".
We are getting what we deserve.
Someday the fake money will be gone and there will be no healthcare, no public college, no F-22, no space program, no paid nursing home, no food stamps, no disability check, no corporate subsidies....just debts.

We'll be speaking Chinese, Hindi and Farsi. And Hispanic dialect will be strictly forbidden by the new overlords, wait and see.
Just imagine what those PowerPoints would look like today.
What format would he use to present them? A debate? A tv special? CSPAN? I mean, seriously, who would actually watch? You and I care but 99% of America would rather watch sport or reality tv. Unfortunately, America is getting everything it deserves.

All of the above.
One thing that is obvious, you could get on Fox with them, and they would get watched there, although primarily by your already captive audience. You could obviously also get them online. That would at least start some buzz. You could seek out personal appearances at black and hispanic churches, at NAACP meetings, at other events like that. I would try to engage guys like Sharpton and Jesse. The message is not that different from what Jesse was pushing at one time. And one thing about Sharpton and Jesse, you write them a check and you'll get their attention, at least for a while.
Progress is going to be slow at first, you're fighting a lot of inertia. But a trip of 10,000 miles starts with one step.
