This matches up with the plans they've had for about 4 years now. In the Garrison era the plan was to actually replace Humanities instead of just leaving it green space, but I wouldn't bank on that for a good long time.

When again are we supposed to hear something more definitive on plans for the stadium at the BJCC?

I saw a truck at the gas station the other day with a bammer plate that read BEARJR. I tried to see if it was Cubby, but this was in Opelika so I doubt it was him.

The Alabama BOT approved at $15 million football ops building for UAB today. Somewhere pigs are flying through a frozen hell.

Guessing the covered facility is phase 2?

If I remember right, the firm hired to draw up the preliminary plans has a deadline of sometime in April to present their plan to the BJCC. I assume that after that we'll hear more about a possible construction timeline.

I believe the building and the covered facility will be one structure.
