This. I don't understand how folks think DW is more valuable at WR, when our offense was significantly better when he played qb. If he was more valuable at WR wouldn't that mean our offense was better when he played wide receiver? I don't recall that being the case.

Washington scored a TD in the first game and injured himself on the play. Because of that and then the concussion, he was never full strength at WR this year.

It is a tough choice. DW looked good for the most part at WR, but it was against bad competition. So it's a difficult task for the coaching staff to decide what they think is the best move for not only DW, but for the team. If there is a QB on the roster anywhere as close to him, there should be no question about putting him at WR.

Either way, DW gets a 10/10 on the respect meter. Kid puts his well-being on the line for the team.

Why? Is he done with football? He's already sat out one season, so he couldn't transfer to another FBS school, so if he goes, he goes down a level.
